Our Full Spectrum Doula Training & Certification

Training & lifetime certification allow you to work with insurance and third party payor plans, such as Carrot, Maven, & Progyny.

  • Training includes coverage of the below topics:

    • Anatomy and Physiology of Labor

    • Interventions & Comfort Measures

    • Navigating Clinical Culture, Decision-Making, & Advocacy

    • Inductions, Cesarean Sections, & VBACs

    • Out of Hospital Considerations

    • Planning & Preferences for Birth & Postpartum

    • Newborn Care, Postpartum Emotional & Physical Recovery

    • Supporting Special Families (Disabilities, LGBTQ+, HAES, Infertility, Loss, Abortion, & Complications)

    • The Business & Sustainability of Doula Work

  • Fee: $1400.00 (covers training, materials, three group mentoring calls & exclusive Facebook group)

  • The fee includes the training, and three group mentoring calls & membership to an exclusive Facebook group for students. Additional mentorship is available on an as agreed upon basis, and for $75/hr. with the instructor & founder of The Lemon Grove, Marissa Hathaway.
